| Nellie Steals the show! |
The final numbers are in, and I’m happy to report that after expenses the Cabaret for Marriage Equality that was held on Saturday, September 7th, raised over $5,000 to approve Ref-74.
The show (at Seattle's Town Hall) itself was Great with the Fabulous
Alison Arngrim (Nellie from Little House) and she brought the equally fabulous,
Scott Silverman (Gay and Jewish comedian),
Abby Drake from LA, and the local talents of
Peggy Platt, Captain Smartypants, Jackie Hell and
Jinkx Monsoon. They donated their Talents and kept the expenses low. The audience was more of a lesbian and older couples crowd.
