(EDDIE WALKER) Coverage of Bellevue Collection’s Front Row Fashion Show!

by Eddie Walker

On September 29, 2012, I had the pleasure of attending the Bellevue Collection’s Front Row Fashion Show sponsored by Vogue, and benefitting the Moyer Foundation.  And let me tell you, with the tiered seating, you could not find a bad seat in the house.  The lighting, the music, the models, the fashions, it was all fabulous. Well, not all of it, but I’ll get to that in a minute. The show was hosted by Anne Vincent of Vogue and Style Icon, Lawrence Zarian.

CABARET HIGHLIGHTS: Star-Studded Cabaret for Marriage Equality raise over 5K!

Nellie Steals the show!
The final numbers are in, and I’m happy to report that after expenses the Cabaret for Marriage Equality that was held on Saturday, September 7th, raised over $5,000 to approve Ref-74. The show (at Seattle's Town Hall) itself was Great with the Fabulous Alison Arngrim (Nellie from Little House) and she brought the equally fabulous, Scott Silverman (Gay and Jewish comedian),  Abby Drake from LA, and the local talents of Peggy Platt, Captain Smartypants, Jackie Hell and Jinkx Monsoon. They donated their Talents and kept the expenses low. The audience was more of a lesbian and older couples crowd.

by MK Scott

Last week I attended the Press Launch of the 2012 Seattle International Film Festival at Seattle's UPTOWN Theater. Special Guest Included Oscar Winner and Seattle-native and Western Washington University graduate, TJ Martin, who co-directed 'Undefeated', winner of Best Documentary Feature. Martin Posed for Pictures with his OSCAR and he was just as attractive in person as he was on TV. Later I ran into Martin in the washroom and he was very interested in stories of where people watched the Oscars. I mentioned I was at the Big Gay Oscar Party at the Cinerama.
